Thompson's Point Baths

Thompson’s Point Baths in Eden, on the NSW Sapphire Coast, is a hidden gem that’s well worth the effort. It’s a rock pool built very early in the 20th century. It has fallen largely out of use since the old wooden ramps linking it to the cliff tops crumbled away after a termite infestation.

You can still get there, though, either by swimming across or by clambering around the rocky shore. The water is crystal clear, so it’s a great spot for a swim or a snorkel, and with cliffs all around it’s a swim you won’t forget. The old ramps might be gone, but the setting more than makes up for it.
