Two Fold Bay Yacht Club Regatta

This weekend I went along to the Two Fold Bay Yacht Club regatta in Eden. There was a good mix of boats, including several Mosquitos and Flying Dutchman dinghies, along with other modern boats.
It was a calm day with only a very light breeze. That was enough to sail on, but a bit more wind would have been nice. Even so, it was great to watch the sailors rig their boats on the beach before heading out onto the bay for the race. You could see the boats from the shore, but they were too far out to tell who was winning.
The regatta is a fun day out for anyone who loves sailing or just likes being near the water, and it really shows how much the locals love their sailing. If you’re after a day in the sunshine, I’d recommend getting along to the next one. It’s a friendly crowd in a beautiful spot. You can find out more on the Two Fold Bay Yacht Club website.
